A little about me

Hi, I’m Laura 

I’m a freelance Event Producer & Project Manager who loves turning big ideas (and occasionally slightly chaotic ones) into brilliant real-life experiences.

Over the last seven years, I’ve worked across festivals, brand activations, cultural events, award shows and community projects. My work has taken me across the UK and internationally.

I’ve programmed 90+ artists across nine festival stages. Produced community events. Managed large-scale outdoor shows. Delivered projects at Cannes Lions. And worked with some pretty brilliant people along the way.

I started out working onsite at music festivals and quickly realised I loved being right in the middle of it all.

Fast forward a few years and I’ve found myself doing everything from artist programming and supplier wrangling to budgets, production schedules, guest lists and site plans. Plus, of course, the inevitable last-minute problem solving.

Basically, I like making things happen.

​

I’m happiest working with creative teams on projects that bring people together. That might be a festival, brand experience, cultural programme, activation or something completely new.

​

I can take a project from an idea on a page right through to delivery. I can also jump into an existing team when there are approximately 400 things happening at once and someone needs to get a handle on them.

​

My work spans live events, activations, programming, placemaking and creative project management. There’s usually a healthy mix of spreadsheets, site visits, supplier calls and running around with a radio.

​

I’m organised, practical and collaborative. I’m also very used to plans changing at the eleventh hour.

​

Most importantly, I genuinely love what I do. Seeing something that once existed in a deck or a meeting actually happening in front of you never really gets old.
