CULTURE MILE SUMMER SERIES
Project Manager

THE BRIEF:

Support the onsite production and delivery of The Wall Street Journal’s Journal House at Cannes Lions. A high-profile, multi-day programme of talks, networking and hospitality bringing together global leaders, industry voices and guests throughout the festival.

MY ROLE:

Spent nine days onsite in Cannes, working closely with the Production Director to support delivery from build through to live event and breakdown.

Coordinated day-to-day production requirements across the site. Worked with suppliers, venue teams and wider stakeholders to keep schedules, logistics and changing requirements on track.

Sourced event dressing and styling elements, including lighting, soft furnishings and decorative details. Worked closely with the Production Director to ensure these aligned with the overall creative direction of the space.

Supported the transition from build into show days, helping ensure spaces were ready and production requirements were delivered to a high standard.

During the live programme, supported the delivery of talks, hospitality and guest experiences. Managed changing requirements, troubleshot issues in real time and worked across teams to keep everything moving smoothly throughout the week.

THE OUTCOME:

Successfully supported nine days of onsite production, from build through to live delivery and breakdown.

Helped deliver a polished Journal House experience in the heart of Cannes during one of the busiest weeks in the global creative calendar.

Maintained smooth day-to-day operations across a demanding programme, responding quickly to changing requirements while supporting a consistently high standard of production and guest experience.
