THE BRIEF:

Stage manage at BBC Radio 2 in the Park, supporting the delivery of a fast-paced programme of live music and entertainment for a 14,000-capacity audience. Keep the stage running safely, smoothly and to schedule throughout the live event.

MY ROLE:

Managed the live running of the stage, working closely with production, AV, artist liaison and the wider event team.

Kept the running order on track throughout the day. Coordinated stage calls, artist arrivals, changeovers and performance timings.

Managed backstage requirements and ensured artists were briefed, comfortable and ready to take to the stage at the right time.

Worked closely with technical teams to coordinate stage requirements and ensure everything was ready for each performance.

Responded to last-minute changes and live production challenges in real time. Kept communication flowing between backstage, stage and the wider production team.

Successfully stage managed a busy live programme at BBC Radio 2 in the Park, part of a 14,000-capacity event.

Kept performances and changeovers running smoothly and to schedule while maintaining clear communication across artists, crew and production teams.
